I’m not allowed to leave my house.
Even to walk two blocks away to say hello and have just one drink with my friends.
However, my mom can drink an entire case of beer before 8 o’clock.
It’ll be a miracle if I make it through the next six months without doing something really fucking stupid.

Laura Palmer has to be the greatest character not performed by a single person, but performed indirectly by almost an entire cast. Parts of her character are reflected, channeled, encoded in all of them. That is perhaps the most genius aspect of Twin Peaks.
